(Parrsboro) The Parrsboro Atom Predators, under coach
Matt Hoeg, are the 2007 champions (Atom Division) at the recent 8th
Annual PMHA-Harrisons Hockey Tournament. The Atom Predators finished
the round robin play of the tournament with a perfect 3-0 record. In
the first game held Friday, Parrsboro Atom 2 (Matt) defeated
Parrsboro Atom 1 (Craig) by a score of 2-0. On Saturday, the young
Predators faced off against the Parrsboro Pee Wee Girls Predators
and won by a score of 3-0. The final game of the round robin play
was against Cumberland where the Parrsboro Atoms completed their
perfect 'round robin' record winning by a score of 4-2. The Atom
Championship Game was a "home-town" crowd pleaser as the Parrsboro
Atom 1 team under coach Craig Harrison was to face off against Matt
Hoeg's Atom 2 team. Hoeg's Atom 2 team proved too strong on this day
winning 6-2 earning the coveted Harrison Championship Banner for
2007 edition of the tournament.
